The Houston-Stewart County Beekeepers Association (HSCBA) is a group of local beekeepers who share an interest in beekeeping.  Their mission is to share information and help promote the craft of beekeeping in a rural Tennessee setting. We welcome all levels of beekeepers!

We meet the third Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Farm Bureau Office in Erin, TN (location may be subject to change, please contact someone to confirm the meeting location).

Erin, Tennessee is located about 27 miles from Clarksville, TN and about 21 miles from Dover, TN which is located at the South end of the Land-Between-the-Lakes on the Tennessee-Kentucky border.

We currently have an educational hive that we maintain.  We have brought bee exhibits to the Houston County Fair, AG Day and schools.  Our future plans include more educational programs to help others understand more about bees and honey.

Most people do not know whether they are buying locally produced or locally bottled honey. There can be a major difference. Locally produced is the honey that comes from the area. It contains the local pollens,  Locally bottled can be honey that comes from anywhere else. The item is put into a bottle in that location. Consumers need to be wary of what they are purchasing.
